Ralph Power Waives Right to Full Parole Hearing Review
Our family received great news from the National Parole Board! Turns out that Ralph Power has decided to waive his "right" to a full parole review this coming June 2006. It's now rescheduled to May 2008.
As to why he made this decision, we can only guess. But I'm pretty sure he knows he has a very slim chance right now. His behaviour behind bars has been less than stellar. Not that I am supposed to know that! Ooops! Plus he's still in a medium insitution even after all this time - almost 25 years! That says something right there.
So while he won't have the op for full parole till 2008, we still must face the fact that he can apply for day passes etc. Time will tell. So while we've one a battle, the war is still on. The fight is far from finished!
It would be so much easier if Power would just get some horrible disease and die a painful, slow BUT certain death. That would be amazing. That would be the perfect finish - don't you agree?
