Olson & Power - 2 Reasons Canada's Parole Process Needs Change

Unlike Ralph Power, Clifford Olson didn't waive his right for a parole review. The families of Olson's victims had to live through the hell once again at yesterday's ridiculous review. Everyone knew that it would be impossible for him to be granted parole but still it was his legal right to drag everyone through the process. And this will continue to happen EVERY 2 YEARS! How stupid is that? It's the same for Ralph Power. Even though he waived his right this year, another hearing is already scheduled for May 2008.

Bottom Line - there needs to be exceptions to this 2yr thing. When you're talking about psycho/sociopaths like Olson and Power, it just shouldn't apply.

I know that Sharon and Gary Rosenfeldt are fighting for legislative change and I'm right beside them. In fact, I sent them an email earlier stating that I will do whatever I can to help.

I'll keep you posted!
